The International Day of Mathematics (IDM) is a worldwide celebration. Each year on March 14 all countries are invited to participate through activities for both students and the general public in schools, museums, libraries and other spaces. The website of the IDM is idm314.org.

The proclamation of March 14 as the International Day of Mathematics was adopted by the Executive Council of UNESCO at its 205th session. It was adopted by the 40th session of the General Conference of the UNESCO in November 2019. The inaugural celebration of the IDM took place on March 14, 2020. The theme for 2020 was Mathematics is Everywhere.
