It is with great sadness that we share the news of the passing of our colleague, Mr Tsepo Majake (52), on Monday 20 June 2022.
Tsepo joined ASSAf on 1 March 2015 as the Education Liaison Officer: Scholarly Publishing Unit and was also the backbone of support to the Quest Science for South Africa team. Over the years Tsepo promoted science engagement at various levels with different stakeholders and audiences and he had a unique passion for promoting science among young learners.
Tsepo is survived by his mother (90), two elder sisters, and an elder brother.
His funeral service will take place this coming Sunday (26 June 2022) at the Pimville Seventh-Day Adventist Church.
