China’s Shanghai Maglev Train provides a shuttle service between the Pudong International Airport and a station
on the outskirts of the vast Shanghai Metro system of interconnecting lines, doing the 30 km trip in about eight
minutes. It used to have a morning and afternoon slot to show off its maximum commercial speed of 431 km/h, but
currently sticks to a more sedate 300 km/h for the duration of its daily operating hours.
